The perfect environment for an unforgettable holiday

The resort on which our villas are located, is an absolute top location. Surrounded by water and nature but within walking distance of the lively center of Giethoorn. Our villas are not only suitable for a weekend getaway, but also for a longer stay that offers a perfect alternative to a holiday along crowded beaches. You will enjoy the tranquillity and space in beautiful villas surrounded by water, which are equipped with every luxury and comfort.

Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice

When visiting our villas, a visit to Giethoorn should not be missed. This picturesque village is known for its unique canal system, the farmhouses with thatched roofs and the characteristic wooden bridges that connect the small islands.

Because transport within the village is mainly done with punts, Giethoorn is also called the Dutch Venice. The pleasant, tourist center of Giethoorn with many nice shops and restaurants is within walking and sailing distance from your villa.

A paradise for water sports enthusiasts

EThere is really nothing more beautiful than exploring the beautiful nature and nearby villages by boat. Our villa park, therefore, offers many opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. Each villa also has its own jetty with a swimming ladder. It has its own natural swimming pool right in front of the door and you can sail straight into nature from your own jetty. Discover the area in a whisper boat or sloop, cast a line at a beautiful fishing location or sail directly to Giethoorn or one of the nearby villages. Do you prefer something more active? Discover nature and surroundings with a canoe, a rowing boat, or on a SUP.

Nature lovers

The Bodelaeke water resort is directly connected to the Beulakerwijde and is a stone’s throw away from the “Weerribben-Wieden” nature park. This nature park offers everything for the real nature lover. Sail through the area among the birds and enjoy the colorful surroundings and tranquility. Walk on grass and deck paths, straight through reed beds, marshy areas, and meadows full of flowers. By bike, you follow the route over dikes and quays, through meadow bird areas, and past windmills and other monuments. No matter how you discover nature. It remains breathtaking in any season.
